MURANO

Find beautiful glass from the Italian island just off Venice. For centuries, the island of Murano has been the center of glassblowing, because the Italian city government believed at the time that it was safest to move Venice's glassblowing factories to the island for safety reasons.

All the glass we call "Murano" today is therefore not from one brand, one designer or the like. Instead, it is a collective term for glass from the island of Murano.
